I applied for the role on LikendIn. The process was not formal at all which was not a good feeling. It was my first red flag. The first interview was basic introduction and why this role and what you are looking for etc.
Then I cleared that round and went on to the next interview which is called a “cultural fit interview round” with the founder of the company. At last moment the founder postponed and changed the meeting time.He was decent but definitely had a push over and over smart know it all kind of personality which was off putting . Second round was more behaviour questions and some basic technical questions around campaign settings, KPI’s etc. one question bothered me which was would you prefer to do quality work or quantity? I said quality but the founder responded there is no ideal answer but i would lean for a candidate who is good at quantity over quality that was the second red flag.
I have some years of experience in the industry and I wouldn’t go for a company who prefers quantity work over quality!!
Anyways I was told to wait for technical round and they mentioned if they forget that I should get in touch with them to ask for one, but then they ghosted me . I had invested my time and efforts (I currently have a job so I had taken a leave for this interview process) after giving two rounds of interviews they did not have the decency to inform me the outcome or revert to my email.
Companies should be called out for such behaviour. This is not acceptable!!
