      Senior Manager Interview

      19 Aug 2013
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Asurion

      Interview

Initial communications and interview process went well. It was very professional. I had 4 phone screens than a panel interview onsite. Most of the interviewers used a interviewing tool (document) to ask behavioral questions. Nothing to difficult, mostly around people management skills. I left the interview feeling good about it. That is where it got strange and unprofessional. I had to follow up with numerous email and phone calls to get an update. Nothing. When I did get a hold of someone, I was told they will get back to me. Nothing. It has been over a month now with no update. If the answer is No offer than this is fine, as I already moved on but it is shame when this behavior occurs (unfortunately I heard about this happening to folks in the current job market) and now I can say I experienced it as well: just follow up to keep the candidate informed of what is going on with the opportunity!

      Question 1

Nothing difficult. Fairly standard behavioral type questions that would pertain to the role.
