The process took about 2 months from start to finish.
I was called by the then Laboratory Director for a Medical Laboratory Scientist position in Las Vegas. After telling them I was interested, they scheduled an interview at the corporate office. They paid for my flight and lodging to and from the interview. During this interview, I sat down with the COO, the Lab Director, and the CEO to discuss my qualifications and resume. After doing so, I was taken out to dinner with some of the staff, the Lab Director, and the CEO.
After returning from my first interview, I did not hear back from them for a few weeks. I was then contacted again for a second interview, in which they paid for my flight and lodging again. The second interview was more informal but I still met with the Lab Director and the CEO. I got to sit in on a presentation on the development of next generation sequencing and how the company was expanding some of its testing. We then went out for dinner again (The Lab Director, the CEO, and an employee).
After returning from the second interview, I was sent a job offer which I accepted.
