Applied and got a call back. Was super excited because I’ve heard great things about the culture. Recruiter reached out to schedule an interview with her. The first meeting with her, she sounded distressed during our call so I asked her if everything was ok. She let me know she had a family emergency. Totally understood, so we rescheduled for the following day. The second call with her, she ended up overbooking and we had to reschedule again. Finally, we arrived at our third attempt (730am) where she asked me to tell her about myself and why I was interested. Throughout the entire interview, she literally yawned as I talked. At one point midyawn, she mentioned that the heater was making her sleepy. Somehow, I moved on to the second round which was the take-home. The assignment asked three vague questions around data - very weird prompt. I submitted the assignment within the 48hrs allotted and emailed the recruiter to let her know. I didn’t hear back, so I followed up for an update and still didn’t hear back. The experience was so horrendous, I let it go and decided the role/company wasn’t a good fit. Can’t see myself ever applying to Asana again. Definitely changed my perspective and now have a negative view towards the company.
