      Partner Success Associate Interview

      5 Apr 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Artsy (London, England) in Dec 2020

      Interview

MOST UNPROFESSIONAL INTERVIEW PROCESS I EVER WENT THROUGH. I cannot express how disrespectful and unprofessional this company has been with my interview process. After 7 HOURS of calls, email exercises, and roleplays (plus all the time invested in preparing for them), they have completely disappeared and ghosted me without giving me any update on the outcome of hiring process, after several courtesy follow up emails due to the radio silence. Not even an auto email. Not to mention that even though I applied for one role, they tried to offer 2 different roles without a clear structure or list of reasons, resulting in me repeating the same interview with different people within the company. How a company treats its employees and possible future employees tells a lot about itself, and I consider myself lucky now that I had the chance to see this big red flag about Artsy. You cannot waste people time and make them progress to the next stages of the process without even give them a final response - we are professional and you need to respect the time we invest in you. To all the reliable and hard working professionals out there, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY who does not show any respect towards its candidates.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Artsy (London, England) in Sept 2020

      Interview

Initial phone screening, followed by four separate 30 minute interviews (one of them as a presentation) and three lengthy reference checks. A very long process with a lot of steps and a lack of communication in between does not make it a pleasant experience and leads to anxiety. Even though the provided feedback was good it did seem like the company wanted to keep their options open. Recruiters seem to be flakey and even though they do encourage you to keep going in the process the long wait times and unclear communication show that the recruitment process at Artsy really needs a lot of work if they do not want to be in the bad books with promising talent that is eager to work for them. Would not recommend interviewing for Artsy.
