Exactly as described: first a phone screen. Then there was a 3-4 hour in-person interview. THis consisted of 3 parts. FIrst the traditional behavioral interview, then the case interview, followed by a 1:1 with one of the partners
Submitted a resume and got a phone interview shortly thereafter. Phone screen was basic work background stuff. A week or so later I had my in-person interview (scheduled for 150 minutes). Met with a Director for about an hour for a general interview (mostly looking for fit) and then for another hour or so with that Director and a peer-level consultant for the case study. Case study included 2 scenarios about situations at a hypothetical client. They were looking for analytical and strategic thinking mostly, based on the questions asked.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
After explaining how I'd approach one problem, they asked: What methodology would you use in this situation? I explained again and they asked the same question again. I think they were looking for the name of the methodology and I was just giving them the steps.
