I applied for a position with Arrow Transportation back at the end of April/beginning of May. I wasn't contacted until the end of May for an interview with one of the long time department VPs. The first meeting went well and we go along talking about a variety of topics; not just work. After the first meeting, I got a message from the same individual who mentioned that he wanted me to proceed to the next step of the hiring process as he felt I would be a good fit. Afterward, I had a meeting with HR and went through with the assessment. Once the assessment and second meeting finished, the same VP wanted to meet to discuss my offer. All I have to say is that contract we discussed compared to the one that was offered was a complete insult. The contract was 25k less compared to the original numbers that we went back and forth with on both meetings. I asked what happened, but I was given the usually HR treatment of we can't to this because of blah, blah, blah. Tip: Ask about the salaries before you meet the first time to save yourself time. I went back and forth with them for almost 4 weeks.
