I applied online. I interviewed at Array (NY) (New York, NY) in Jan 2026
Interview
There were 4 separate interviews, as well as a sample work submission (which was a fun exercise for me). Each was with a different person in a different sector of the company. The interview process was thoroughly explained on their website as well as in reminder emails. After each interview, I was promptly invited to schedule my next interview. The interview process proceeded quickly and took about 5-8 business days in total. Even though I was not selected for the position, I was notified within 2 days after my final interview. Everyone was relatable, understanding, and professional with their demeanor and asked great questions.
My only critique was that some of the interviewers needed to be better groomed and dressed(messy hair, hoodie, t-shirt, etc.. no one looked homeless, just very casual for a professional company). I understand the company as a whole is more relaxed and laid back, which is great in these tense times. However, just as I am putting forth my best effort to make a good impression as an applicant, I think it is fair to expect the same in return from the organization. That's all. Everything else was lovely.

Interview
One recruiter phone screen, three virtual 30-minute interviews, and a position assessment (slide deck detailing a previous project I've worked on). There was also an optional CEO interview that was not apart of my process.

Interview
I first had an interview with a talent sourcer (Steph), and then the hiring manager (Sara). From the first call, I was looped into what the rest of the process would look like (call with hiring manager, several rounds with other team members, take-home project, and possible final interview). I really enjoyed interviewing with Array! Steph and Sara were an absolute pleasure to speak with and it was clear that the culture and growth opportunities at Array are fantastic. Steph and Sara were both very thoughtful with their questions, as well as their answers to my questions.
