I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Archer Specialist Recruitment in Mar 2026
Interview
The recruiter messaged via LinkedIn asking for my CV. I sent it and mentioned the salary is very low for a very high position, then asked if it is remote. They didn't respond, a week later sent a separate same copy/paste message with the daily rate bumped higher. We eventually had a phone conversation, went dead halfway, they called back, asked questions already answered in bold on my CV, repeated questions answered in the call, it was clear they were uninterested reading from a list, then concluded no match due to no eCommerce experience.

Interview
I interviewed for this company in immediately after graduating and while the initial two rounds of interviews were relatively normal the final round interview which I had onsite was absolutely psychotic. One of the interviewers had a conniption and was quick to correct me when I used the word job saying 'recruitment is a career and a way of life, not just a job'. There were two parts this final round interview, one of which involved a 1-2-1 interview with a recruitment manager who asked the most insanely personal questions. For example, she asked about my relationship with my parents (and continued to push to see if I had anything negative to say when I said it was great), Also as an exercise to test how I would respond in uncomfortable situations she required me to ask her any question I liked that made me feel uncomfortable. So bizarre. It was almost as if she considered herself a psychologist and wanted to dig deeper into people's pasts and other elements of their lives that have nothing to do with their capability for the role. When the question I asked wasn't uncomfortable or personal enough she made me ask her one that would make me 'even more uncomfortable'. Honestly the interview process gave major cult vibes. I have since gone on to work in HR for years in normal reputable companies and I can confirm that their hiring process is totally unacceptable and not normal. Wasn't offered the role in the end and after such a disturbing final round interview, I had no intentions of taking it anyway.

Interview
I've been screened by an Archer member and taken to two interviews with client. I was asked to produce a study case and it took me several hours from my weekend. I was well prepared and answered all client's question.
After that Archer's recruiter simply ghosted, disappeared and never answered my messages. I would be happy to have a feedback, positive or negative, doesn't matter.
It's rude, inelegant and disrespectful to just ghost a candidate. Specially if it comes from a recruiter company.
