I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aramark (Parsippany, NJ) in Oct 2011
Interview
I applied for the job through a website (snagajob) and was promptly called 2 days later. I was asked to come in for an interview within a week. I met, and interviewed with, the executive chef. After the interview I was told by the executive chef that I was hired on the spot and would start within a couple of weeks.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There were no questions that were really difficult or unexpected. All the questions were straightforward and the process was fast. I was asked why I wanted to work there, what I expected to accomplish in my time there and how I would react to different situations.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Aramark (Pittsburgh, PA)
Interview
It was fantastic. Hired me on spot. I thought the process was fair, easy to find, people seemed so very nice. Management was pleasant. It was exciting to join their team.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aramark (Newark, NJ) in Jan 2015
Interview
My in-person interview was rushed and cursory. Then, there was not more than a background check and fingerprinting done (which I paid for) as they were desperate to fill the position immediately. The Union speech was useless and there is NO HR in this company...they outsource to a third party. Once you're in with Aramark, keep detailed records of your problems with management.
I applied through university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Aramark (Winston-Salem, NC) in Aug 2014
Interview
It was quick and easy. They only asked me questions about my school schedule. She asked about my past experience but was happy I didn't have any so she can train me her way. It was simple and fast and I got hired on spot.
