First initial round with HR - He was lustless and inaudible that I had repeat myself twice. I had to follow up to get my technical screen set up. I was informed there will be 2 phone interviews before I get the onsite 1) Algorithmic - this interviewer was really nice. Was helpful and made sure I understood the question. I got the code running and all the tests passed. 2) System Design - Was told it was System Design but looks like the interviewer itself did not know what he was interviewing me for. I happen to mention that I already had a conversation with another team member he was shocked, also this was at the end of the interview. So I kind of realized he was clueless. What a waste of my time! If there is no internal communication I really wonder how this team works without the basics. I sent a thank you email the next day because it is a nice thing to do and one has to see the positive part of everything. I got a heartless automated rejection. After investing so much time with this company, atleast the HR could have written one sentence email that it didn't work out. That's definitely a red flag.
