I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Applied Intuition
Interview
One phone interview with HR to talk about the company and your interest, one technical phone screen, then on-site interviews. The technical phone screen was half conceptual questions and half online coding test.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
For the first phone interview, classic behavioral questions. For the technical interview, it was questions about vehicle dynamics, modelling and behavior.
The process started with a behavioral recruiter screen focused on my background, interest in the company, and general fit for the role. After that, I had a technical interview on CoderPad involving reading data from an API and working with nested JSON. The problem started straightforward and then added follow-up requirements, including finding the maximum velocity and maximum range from the returned data.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Applied Intuition (Sunnyvale, CA) in Apr 2026
Interview
The entire process took about 3 weeks. I am a new-grad.
- Recruiter Call
- 45-minute technical screen
- 3-hour virtual onsite (first 30 minutes is group introduction, followed by three 45-minute coding rounds)
- 45-minute hiring manager interview
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1 leetcode medium/hard question in each 45-minute coding rounds with follow-up. The hiring manager round is very weird and I was asked what I liked and don’t like about each internship.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Applied Intuition in Mar 2026
Interview
Recruiter screening lasted around 30 minutes, followed by a C++ coding interview. The coding round was challenging, and I could not fully complete the problem. Did not move forward afterward.
