I applied through email and was contacted by an HR person for a phone interview. I received a call from the owner of the company who asked me about my experience and work history. He had a negative reaction to me being a contract employee in my current role and ended the phone interview. It's not that surprising considering that cosmetic companies are always discriminating against temps/ contractors in their hiring process even if they have relevant and the same experience as regular employees. My advise is to learn to hire and treat people equally so that people are equally able to build a career!
