I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Appian (McLean, VA) in Oct 2024
Interview
The only thing I didn't like was that the interviews were all stacked up, back to back to back to back (about 4 interviews and 4 hours, and they all took full time).
At the time, this was one of the first in-person interviews I had gotten anywhere, so I admit that I may have had to adjust my expectations/get used to doing rounds like this. But I was definitely exhausted and imagine it may have detracted from my performance a bit.
One interviewer was kind enough to offer me a few minutes to relax because they had seen that I was coming straight out of the previous interview.
Intro call with recruiter, then technical interview, then on-site final round. Interviews were not technically challenging but never received feedback from the recruiter (PoC also changed during the process). Other reviews describing the process are fairly accurate.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Appian (Washington, DC) in Jan 2025
Interview
Reached out by recruiter for a role as a Technical Consultant for the Public Sector team in DC. Had a follow-up interview and told him I was looking for Software Engineering roles and he said he'd reach out if he came across relevant roles.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Appian
Interview
I was referred to the role and after applying a recruiter reached out to me to set up a time for a call. After sending over some times that worked for me and my phone number the recruiter never got back to me. I followed up later asking if they were still interested. They responded saying they never got my email and a few times they were free to call. I sent back my availability and they confirmed the time they would call me. They never called me or followed up with me.
