I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AppDynamics (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2015
Interview
Came in 15 minutes early to get a tour of the office where I was briefly told about the perks of working at AppDynamics--catered breakfast/lunch, massages, yoga..etc. My interview was in one of their cozy meeting rooms. It lasted about 3 hours and I met with members of the recruiting team -- first the coordinators, then the recruiters, then finally, the manager and the VP. Each interview was about 30 minutes, some were individual and others were done in pairs. Questions were straight forward, almost conversational, with some skill related topics.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AppDynamics (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2019
Interview
The process was quick, smooth, and transparent. I got an email from the recruiter and had my phone interview the next day (Friday). A second phone interview was scheduled on the same day with the hiring manager. An onsite on Tuesday of the following week and I heard back the next day and accepted the offer.
The people I met at Appdynamics was welcoming, sweet, and showed lots of passion in what they do. Both phone interviews were 30 min each with lots of behavioral questions. The onsite was about 3.5 hours long. I got to meet the whole RC team along with the some TA people as well.

Question 1
Tell me a time when there was an unexpected event and how did you handle it?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AppDynamics (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2017
Interview
The interview process went by swiftly and efficiently. Within two weeks, I had 3 phone screens, and finished off with a 3.5 hour virtual interview with 7 different individuals. The offer came almost immediately (within 4 hours) of my last interview. Throughout the entire process, my point of contact was more than communicative with me, addressing any issues, questions, or concerns that I had. As far as questions went, they were largely behavioral and experience based. Fairly standard questions around organization, recruiting experience, interest, etc.

Interview
Overall, the process was very quick and smooth. My phone interview happened on a Friday; my onsite was scheduled the Tuesday after, and I heard back with in 24 hours.
The interview itself was a bit of a marathon, in that I met with 10 people over a 3 hour period. Everybody I met with was very warm, welcoming, and full of personality.
