A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn to connect for a phone screen. She didn't work directly for Aplos, but instead for a sourcing company that Aplos was working for. Regardless, she was wonderful! We had a great conversation and she even reached out to wish me will for my next interview. Which now makes sense why I needed the luck.
Spoke with an executive and the "interview" couldn't have gone worse. She didn't make any effort to build rapport, and the call felt like an interrogation. If im being honest, I debated ended the interview after a few minutes, but decided to continue knowing I was going to pull out of the interview process immediately once I hung up. The woman I spoke with rattled off question after question and appeared uninterested. I recall being asked to "name "10-12 attributes/strengths" and to list all of my managers and what they would rate me 1-10.
When I say this was the WORST interview, it was seriously the worst. In no way was this person trying to learn about me and my professional career. I immediately emailed the recruiter and let her know I would like to be removed from consideration. I simply cannot imagine working in a toxic environment like that. Makes sense why the role is open! - The previous person left after 4 months.
