      I interviewed at AnthroMed Education

      Interview

This was one of the strangest, most unprofessional interview experiences I have had. I applied on LinkedIn, heard absolute radio silence for a month, and then was reached out to by the CEO of the company for a video interview. I thought the video interview went well, and it seems that it did as I was then offered to come in onsite for an interview. I came onsite, rearranged my schedule to do so, and met with various team members for two hours. Upon leaving, I was told by the CEO that “we don’t ghost people here” and then proceeded not to hear from them. I waited a week and a half to touch base, and then was emailed back about a week later (at almost midnight might I add) with a form email stating that I did not get the role. I have to admit, this was surprising as I was getting generally positive feedback during the entirety of the interview process. Additionally, I recently saw that the job is still posted on LinkedIn and that applicants are continuing to be actively reviewed. If I didn’t know any better, I was given the time of day simply to signal that AnthroMed isn’t some run-of-the-mill, big box, multilevel marketing-adjacent recruiting agency even though the company will run itself ragged telling you that it isn’t like those “other” recruiting agencies. Whether it is or isn’t, well, that’s up to the CEO, who, to be fair, is probably busy with an ongoing breach of contract lawsuit having to do with AntroMed. This is all to say that I am grateful I dodged a bullet by not being hired here, and I would recommend not looking to AnthroMed for any career.
