      Global Management Training Program Interview

      23 Oct 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Saint Louis, MO
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Anheuser-Busch (Saint Louis, MO) in Oct 2015

      Interview

I was from a target school for AB, so they came to my campus and I met with the recruiters. After chatting with them, I put my name down on their list and applied...got two email quizzes, a culture and a logic test, both of which I passed. No sweat. Did a pretty comprehensive ~10 page paper case interview about launching products in the beer industry, passed, got a phone call about a personal interview (not scary), passed, then was invited to their on-site business simulation game in Saint Louis. This is where things get interesting and unusual. They took about 120 people for this stage out of (my year) 1500 applicants, so everyone was very cool, very talented, and pretty similar personality-wise. I liked everyone. They interviewed roughly 20 people at a time and sent us on a brewery tour before splitting us up into four teams which competed to be the "best" after a few rounds of competition. Winning the game didn't really seem to matter, though - there are a bunch of high up board members circulating judging everything about you the whole time. It was pretty fun and I thought I did as well as I could have - I got a lot of face time and was pretty eloquent - but I didn't end up moving on, whereas some of the people I know that did were a mix of excellent choices and people I was kind of scratching my head about. Essentially I have no idea how they select for the final round of interviews, which are panel-style in NYC. I'm still a bit broken up about not moving on, as this process was quite time-intensive and the program itself seems like a dream.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Anheuser-Busch in Sept 2016

      Interview

I applied online on the company website, two tests- one personality and one logic, then if your resume was selected you had a case interview on campus, followed by a behavioral interview the next day, then a final group panel in New York City. Interviews were 2 on 1 and the logic tests are designed to be passed.
