I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Angi (Atlanta, GA) in Aug 2022
Interview
They're recruiter reached out to me. I took the interview, with the hiring manager. He was late, disorganized, poor at communicating, he had to start over several times when asking a simple question. He offered presumptive answers to his own questions for me informed by nothing but his baseless assumptions. He seemed puzzled when my answers about my experience didn't match his condescending notions. Feedback was I was too stoic, which is a subjective assessment of someone's nature based on less than 50 minute conversation. Clearly a senior manager with little comprehension of how to control bias and conduct effective interviews.
Standard call with recruiter then hiring manager and multiple rounds. It wasn't a really positive experience. It felt kind of like they were just trying to get innovative ideas from me

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Angi
Interview
Recruiter + hiring manager. All very standard questions about my experience and my prior product roles / launches. I dropped out of the interview process early so did not complete the final rounds
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Angi (New York, NY) in Feb 2024
Interview
The interview process was only 3 steps - recruiter call, hiring manager call, and then a take home project. The project requests that the candidate to solve a real-time company problem, poorly veiled with dummy data. I have spoken to many other candidates who also did this project, and the roles were never filled. This unpaid crowd sourcing is unethical, and shows that Angi does not value candidates.
