I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Andela (Rio Grande, Rio Grande do Sul) in Mar 2023
Interview
Did the coding test(3 questions where two of them involve coding) Then did a technical interview And then talked to some sort of a hiring manager, and what I can say is that all the bad critics here are true, the company has a horrible process, with horrible tools that don't work, they weren't able to provide an activation link that works for example, they said from the salary range I informed they would pay me the lowest boundary that would be 42000 usd year and no benefits or PTO (when an american for the same role the range is 150k year), they discriminate in the process for filtering people that had any criminal record or that is a Latino, also they require background check and references what is extremely anti-ethic due to the contract not being an employer employee relation, Its a company to company relation, they also require you to copy paste your profile data to their platform cause apparently they cant read on other platforms, they schedule meetings without informing you previously and are super slow to provide an offer, I have to say that they are not even a single bit professional and assertive in their processes and apparently are doing nothing to solve it, so I guess they truly deserve the bad reviews they have on glassdoor
