      Graduate Electronics Engineer Interview

      17 Dec 2012
      Anonymous employee
      Limerick, Limerick
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Analog Devices (Limerick, Limerick) in Mar 2012

      Interview

I first heard of the vacancies at my college grad fair. The stand wasn't busy and there was only 1 girl who couldn't really answer my questions. This should have been my sign of things to come. I applied for a position in the Limerick office to start in summer 2012. They have loads of different positions available like Design engineer, Test engineer etc. It took months to get a response. I wish they would send a courtesy email about their timeframes, interviews dates etc. Eventually I got called for an interview. The interview was tough enough but not too bad. The engineering interview was great but the Recruiter was woeful. I got an offer so after my months of waiting so it was worthwhile. I then got shoved back into the waiting game waiting for contracts, start dates etc. They seems to make the process as painful for applicants as possible but its worth the wait when you get here. Word of advice for future applicants, the worst is over after the recruitment and orientation. When you get to work, it a great place to work.
