At the time I was already an agent with the customer service desk (a job for which you must take a test then bid on a position). I was called by our talent acquisition team and asked to come in for an interview during my normal work hours. I was interviewed by a couple of supervisors and a manager (this is standard with Amtrak). They take turns reading from a list of questions then ask you if you have any questions at the end. Afterward they'll give you a little test to fill out asking basic questions about your leadership style.
