They want to hire you and will put a really great effort to get you in case they like you.
1. Applied via Linkedin after I had lost my job due to COVID and was having a tough time without a job for 2 months.
2. Received the magical call from the recruiter Farri. In case you got a call from her you are already in good hands. During the whole interview process, Farri was driving me around. She understood the urgency that I have to start as soon and possible and was even more concerned than me myself. And she made sure to convince everyone to move things really fast.
Now the real technical interview process, Writing in detail so that it can be really useful to someone.
1. First Telephonic round with hiring manager. Not a typical hiring manager. A brief intro and then jump into hands-on coding exercise. Have to code One LeetCode hard and One Very Hard in total 30 mins. Was not able to run the code for the second one but the manager agreed that the solution is good. Got the result the same evening and scheduled the next round for the next day.
2. Second Telephonic round, about concurrency concepts and develop a concurrent solution.
3. Third Telephonic round: System Design
4. A long day of Virtual Onsite:
i) 1 LC hard
ii) 1 LC Hard
iii) 1 API Design
iV) System Design
v) Coding solution around distributed design
vi) A already prepared brief presentation of your choice to the whole team

Interview
Because of my trip during interview period, the whole process took almost 2 months. A recruiter contacted me first and schedule phone screen very fast. After that, there is a preference if you want to have more rounds of phone screen to save one round of onsite interview. I was taking another 2 rounds of phone screen with a coding problem and system design from manager. Because of virus, they moved my onsite to all video calls. Some system design, coding and manager talks.
