I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at American Refining Group (Bradford, PA) in Feb 2021
Interview
Panel style interviews. Long and tedious. Canned questions, etc. Hopeful that things will work out for those who interview at/for American Refining Group, McKean County, Bradford, Pennsylvania. Good luck. 30 Word minimum met.
I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at American Refining Group (Bradford, PA) in Mar 2018
Interview
I had an initial interview at my university. I really liked the people who were interviewing me. By that time, I had interviewed with a ton of companies, so it was fairly easy. They asked me standard interview questions and walked through my resume. They emphasized that as a small company I would wear a lot of hats so I would get a lot of experience. Also, it was not as cut-throat as bigger companies.
I was called back for an on-site interview. I was taken to each department (R&D, EHS, and Technology) and interviewed by leadership there.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard resume questions.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
What do you do for fun? Why did you choose ARG in Bradford, PA? (it is very rural and they would be curious why people would go there.)
I applied through other source. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at American Refining Group in Jan 2012
Interview
Two telephone interviews, two personality and skill online assessments, no face-to-face interview, difficult to negotiate salary (way below market average). Would not offer onsite interview. They want to know me, but would not let me know more of them.
