The second video interview was within a few days and included the Dir. of Dev. and the CDO. The conversation was very positive and cordial as they sought advice regarding specific issues. They mentioned 2 out of 4 recent new hires had already left the organization - prompting an interest to fill the position quickly. I thought I would at least hear back directly from the Dir. of Dev. or the CDO regarding any decisions, but within a few days I received an automated rejection email. This is the second time within the past year I have interviewed for a position with the same CDO, who appears to be a thoughtful manager, but clearly lacks the leadership communication skills.
