I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at American Red Cross (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2009
Interview
Met with recruiter, manger, coworkers, and director within a month. Interview process was long and had to spend time in the field with coworkers. Unless you are very dedicated and willing to go through this lengthy process, it is not for you given the amount of work and low pay. Coworkers were awesome but a few managers were unreasonable, micro managing, and condescending. Work culture was toxic and cut throat.
From the very beginning, everything was clear, straightforward, and transparent. Each stage of the process was well-communicated, and I always knew what to expect. I appreciated how quickly I was updated about the next steps, which helped ease any uncertainty and made the overall experience smooth and stress-free

Interview
The interviewer rescheduled 2 hours before my interview. Chose a date without asking me and when I told her I wasn’t available she never answered. She also originally gave me the wrong month for the interview. Horrible HR department, I feel like a dodged a bullet with that one

10 minute phone interview. Basic questions about qualifications. It was very casual. The interviewer was very friendly and professional. If you meet criteria then you get a second zoom interview with a manager in your area.
