I applied online. I interviewed at American Marketing Association (Indianapolis, IN) in Dec 2025
Interview
The interview process with AMA was extremely unique. It was different from any other interview I have ever had. The entire process consisted of a one-way video interview of questions followed by a phone screening with HR and finally a 2.5 hour interview with various members of the team. While this sounds daunting, it was actually really great. The entire process felt intentional and timely. The video portion was entirely new to me but I really appreciated being able to answer questions in my own time prior to meeting with the team. I wish more companies took this approach.

Interview
You have to do a one-way spark interview first. If you do well on that then you will be invited to a phone screening. Finally a Zoom interview with the HR manager, director of customer support, customer service team member and then the customer service manager. Did not get offer but was provided with feedback.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly behavioral questions - Was there ever a time that you did not have a work/life balance and how did you overcome it?
Give a specific example of when you had to remain objective when you did not agree with something.
The interview process was exactly as described on the job description. It consisted of one video interview, one phone call with HR, and finally a zoom meeting with the team that you will be working closely with. Everyone was extremely helpful throughout the interview process and as intimidating as it may sound, the people make the experience worthwhile!
