I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters (Aurora, IL) in Aug 2011
Interview
I walked into the store to turn in my application and was instructed to speak with the store manager. I handed her my application and was then drilled with interview questions. The interview was very informal and took place in the middle of the store. I wished that there could have been more privacy for the interview and that it did not take place in front of shoppers and other employees. All in all though, the interview went well and I cannot complain.

It was very easy as I knew someone who worked there. They got me an interview and asked me basic questions. They verbally gave me an offer on the spot and I got a offical offer a week later.
