I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters (Montgomery, AL) in Apr 2011
Interview
The interview process is very laid back. The most important things to do is be yourself. The interviewer, who is usually the store or assistant manager, really just wants to get a feel of your personality. They want to see if you are able to communicate smoothly with them as well as the other people in your group interview.

Interview
-pretty easy, went inside for an interview and they asked me about my experience. They then made me try on a bunch of clothes and taught me how to fold them.

Easy interview with manager. We spoke outside about expectations. She was kind and understanding. I interviewed with a couple of people there too. Went over schedule etc. very straight forward and easy

Interview
It was very easy as I knew someone who worked there. They got me an interview and asked me basic questions. They verbally gave me an offer on the spot and I got a offical offer a week later.
