I interviewed at American Corporate Partners (New York, NY)
Interview
Interview Process was pretty tame; 2 Interviews and last one with CEO. Had to complete a Presentation as well; again, super easy
Questions weren’t too much out of the ordinary
Other Operations interview reviews for American Corporate Partners
Interviewed with the Founder, Sid, and withdrew from the process after my conversation due to several red flags. (My hunches were confirmed after reading many negative employee reviews on Glassdoor, which are incredibly troubling.) Sid Interview: -Interviewed as if reading off a Google Search of '10 questions to ask a candidate' including 3 greatest strengths and weaknesses; vacillated between topics/questions with no coherent flow -Asked questions about personal life and relationship -Shared personal and identifiable information about current and past employees, some disparaging Info shared about the role/ACP: -No clear management structure or HR department -2 year employment commitment (not sure how this is enforced) -All employees are M-F in office, no opportunity for remote work -Business casual dress code -Salary below market It's a shame this company doesn't seem to be managed properly as the mission is a noble one. No employees should have to work in a hostile environment - hopefully the board, or someone in a position of change, is actively looking into things.
