The interview reviews are very accurate. I would say don't get too caught up in your content, what they're looking for is personality. I think I prepped too much with individual answers to questions and kind of froze up a little or wasn't quite myself, because I was so focused on WHAT I was saying rather than HOW I said it. Its a really great environment, the recruiters are very friendly and really seem to want you to succeed and love American. I did not get fingerprinted and got an e-mail 2 days later that I didn't get the job, I can't say for certain if you don't get fingerprinted when they individually call everyone after the big group and then small group interview out to "walk them to the bus" (some people do get pulled aside for fingerprinting and a 1on1, even though they tell you everyone will get walked out and hear in 10 days or less) you don't get it, but I didn't. I was the last person called to be walked to the bus and was excited from seeing in reviews that they walk people out 1st that didn't get it and then everybody left gets fingerprinted, but that is not the case, from what I heard from other people in my group after that did get it, it was more the people that were called to be walked out in the beginning or middle that got fingerprinted for background check. Also I got feedback that the 1on1 when they fingerprint isn't so much a 1on1 interview where you're put on the spot, it's more them making sure you understand the "sacrifices" of the job and how it will be (ie relocation, salary, working holidays/birthdays, being gone for periods of time, being on reserve every other month in the beginning then once every 3 months after that, etc).
Just have a good time and be friendly, it's a nice process.
