Interview was a formality as they were pretty desperate to get someone to fill the role.
It's a fairly difficult and demanding role.
A lot of good people, but very few of them in the right places.The 'friends promoting friends' (and clan promoting clan) is pervasive to the detriment of the company culture (unless you belong to that culture).
So get to know the people as that counts for a lot.
You have to be very independent and show you are very resourceful.
This is more important than interview question.
