I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (London, England) in Oct 2022
Interview
Interview process nothing related to the job advert all there interested in is the Leadership Principles and if you answer to their STAR approach. 6 hrs of interviews with first a telephone screen and then 5 interviews if you pass that.
Worse process ever and would never do again. If this is how you have to get a job with a tech company absolute joke. Doesnt prove people skills and culture fit what a load of rubbish.

I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (Seattle, WA)
Interview
Very negative interview experience. It took two full afternoons and all they asked were about times I failed at something or did something negative. Luckily (or unluckily???) I didn't have many failure stories. Didn't get the job. And after reading more employee reviews I think I dodged a bullet.

Question 1
Tell us a time when you disagreed with a supervisor.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (San Antonio, TX) in Jul 2022
Interview
Process was intense, with multiple interviews with individuals that worked as solutions architects and individuals that did not. Some questions were confusing at times and during the interview process performing a mock performance you would be asked different questions and if you could not answer one about the job they repeatedly asked that question. Somewhat confusing interview process.
