I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon Flex (Trafford Park, England) in Apr 2025
Interview
Background check (criminal record, driving history, sometimes drug test depending on location).
May take a few days to a couple of weeks.
You might be asked to submit your vehicle details if applying for Flex.
3. Interview / Hiring Event
Depending on the role type:
Amazon DSP driver (employee of a delivery partner):
Usually a short in-person or virtual interview (10–20 minutes).
Questions are simple and practical, e.g.:
Why do you want to work as a delivery driver?
How do you handle stress or tight schedules?
What would you do if you can’t deliver a package?
Are you comfortable lifting packages up to 50 lbs?
Sometimes it’s a group hiring event where they explain the job, expectations, and benefits, then move to quick 1:1 chats.
Amazon Flex driver (independent contractor):

I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon Flex (Houston, TX) in Feb 2026
Interview
The interview process was very simple and straightforward. I applied online, completed the required information, and was contacted quickly. The interviewer reviewed my driving record, discussed the job duties and schedule, and answered my questions. I received an offer and accepted it.
hard, very hard and there are lots of questions, like how do you know when there is about to be a hurricane over a river. and questions like what year was the el rino tornado, which state was it in. but this knowledge is necessary for the job, so the interview is trivial.
fill out application online and wait for approval and then start delivering, sometimes they approval but you need to wait for a available spot.
After that just follow the app instructions
