Interviews waste an incredible amount of time for candidates as well as employees. They first send a Wonderlic Test and personality test, then an HR interview. Then HR "administers" a mechanical aptitude test. After this, they invite you to an in-person interview which the HR person says will involve "making sure you can access our files" since the role required some IT knowledge. Once you get there, the hiring manager gives you yet another test which requires a vast amount of knowledge on topics including circuits, robotics, hydraulics, fluid power, and terminal commands. All this time wasted and then they will ghost you. They want an engineer-level of knowledge while only paying for tech support.
