Conned for an interview - Market Research Opportunity for Amaris I got a call from someone in Toronto saying that they liked my resume and wanted to meet with me. I thought I forgot I applied for this job but I checked my email and learned that they use found my resume on the internet. I got through the phone interview and met with the interviewer in person. She asked me what type of jobs I was looking for and I told her I was open to many different roles within a specific industry and she told me there were positions that matched my interest and that she wants to talk more about those opportunities. She told me what Amaris is and what they do. That was all fine, and she was really friendly, The interview part was going well only for the part where I had to tell her about myself. As the interview progressed, I quickly realized that she not only didn't retain anything I had JUST MENTIONED but asked me questions that were very unprofessional and seemed like she was more interested in companies I worked for than the work I performed at the companies. She asked me if I thought there was any deficiencies and lack of resources at the companies I worked for. She also asked me if I had any other interviews and I said yes and she prodded me and I said, I don't wish to disclose the details of other interviews I was doing. She ignored what I said and asked me if those interviews were in the similar field and similar companies. The interview ended with her saying that she will let me know what happens in a week and give me feedback to take with me. A week after the interview, I got an email from Amaris, not the person who interviewed and told me they don't have any positions that match my interests. It was a no reply email address.
