I applied on the website for a position I am extremely well qualified for with 10 years professional experience matching the job description in the listing. I was contacted for an interview a day or so later, which felt promising. I responded right away and scheduled an interview that week. I was then sent an invitation via email to a zoom meeting for the interview. At the scheduled time, I clicked the link and after 15 minutes of waiting, finally accepted that no one was showing up to interview me. The zoom host never started the meeting. I immediately sent an email to the two HR employees on the email thread that contained the meeting link and scheduled time. I expressed concern that something had gone wrong on their end and asked to be contacted if there was still interest in an interview. Weeks later, I've yet to receive any response from either of the TWO "professional" employees in the email thread. I know I dodged a bullet, but it's still wildly insulting to be treated this way as an applicant, not to mention an enormous waste of my time. I can only imagine how disrespected I would have been if I'd actually accepted a job offer from Alvord Taylor. I'll tell anyone I can to avoid working for this company. I can handle rejection and even disrespect, but I do worry for the people who are supported by this agency, as a fish rots from the head.
