Question 1
why do you want to switch your career path from engineer to hotel management
I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Altira (Indianapolis, IN) in Sept 2011
Interview
initial interview, panel interview then group. It was a phone at first then moved 1 on 1. The panel was the most intimidating part. You have questions coming from every side. As long as you are well prepared to answer any questions, specifically around morals and ethics as well as knowing Altria's purpose and mission statement you will be fine. They want to see how you take curve balls. Also, be prepared to sell a product to them. such as coffee or water.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Altira
Interview
I applied online and received a phone call a few days later asking to come in for a one on one interview with 2 area managers. That interview went very well and I received a phone call the next day asking if I could meet for another interview with two other people. The questions asked in this interview were a little bit trickier and did not go as well as the first. No offer.
