Had an interview with this company. I had a lot of sector specific, in depth experience which many companies value, yet was rejected with the explanation that I lack experience. It didn’t seem like honest feedback and it felt like as if they are only poaching for insights and ideas for free by interviewing candidates but aren't genuinely looking to hire.
They also asked a lot of personality questions and a lot of it was centred around the culture, suggesting that the “matey” culture that someone else has mentioned before, might still continue. They also said one has to sit with the founder and feel comfortable to make cold calls next to him. Mentioning that made me feel like there is a culture of mistrust and micromanagement. They also want people to close many deals but only have two Product Consultants, which suggested to me that they either do not close many deals/ have no interest to do so, or they prefer saving money instead investing in an important function of the business to accelerate sales.
Pay is also not in line with industry standards.
