Pretty standard process:
- Round 1: recruiter screen
- Round 2: 2x technical interviews
- coding challenge: review codebase, suggest refactors/fixes
- system design: medial record app
Process is fine, interviewers were rocks. Little to no interaction or explanation. Questions to clarify are met with "do whatever you want" answers at best and mostly silence. If one round went poorly just reject the candidates instead of whatever it is this experience was.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Altana AI
Interview
The tech interview itself was held by two of the biggest nerds I've ever seen in tech. The kind that judge you for what school you went to, and who still cling to outdated software practices in the era of AI. I was a referral, so I know I have the capability of succeeding here. But the engineering department at Altana is plagued by dinos who stroke their egos based on what school they went to and how many math proofs they know off the top of their heads. Don't waste your time
