I applied through university. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at AlphaSights (New York, NY) in Apr 2015
Interview
Video interview with standard questions about AlphaSights and why you'd like to work there. There's also a brief assessment to test your concentration, verbal, and math skills—easier than the SAT. Google Hangout interview is more demanding—questions are fired at you one after the other. Apparently what they're looking for is conciseness and efficiency.
Smooth process, first phone calls then zoom interview everyone was very nice and explained 1 person and then 2 people next round was very easy and comfortable would reccomend applying and seeing how you feel

Question 1
What was the most challenging thing you had to do?
30min interview fairly relaxed. Mainly behavioural questions and talking about yourself. 1 question at the end about what you understand the company to do. The interviewer was friendly and helpful. It is optional whether to have your camera on or not.
