I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights (London, England) in Feb 2021
Interview
The whole interview process was quick and the communication between each stage was fantastic. Great start.
Initial stage: Cover letter and CV screen
1st stage: Phone call - quick chat about you as a person
2nd stage: Video interview - Your motivations for why Alphasights and if your motivations aligned with Alphasights
3rd stage: Project stage - This stage is by far the most difficult.
Part 1: You have to read the briefs and identify clients.
Part 2: You have to role play and then this is followed up with a behavioural type of interview.
4th stage: VP interview - General chat. Honestly, any other company the 'higher-ups' always come across arrogant and scary....but at Alphasights every single interviewee had such a friendly approach as well as being very nice overall.
There was also a feedback call before stage 4 which was great. Looking forward to working for Alphasights as despite some of the negative reviews which had minor and obvious cons just like any other company, I am excited to develop myself within Alphasights.
After submitting your CV, you will receive an email with the links to a personality assessment and on-demand video interview. Once passed, it will followed by real-time online interview, then a job simulation of a day in the life of a graduate associate.

Question 1
Self-introduction and why I am suitable for the role
Pretty simple. Pay close attention to the information pack they give as this outlines most of the work. Other than that just standard behavioural questions. Try and speak to one of the current team members for better idea of day to day work.
