I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Allison Transmission (West Lafayette, IN) in Sept 2013
Interview
One on-campus interivew in a day or two after the career fair. They schedule it with you immediately during the career fair. Interview was about 45 minutes long with an HR representative. It consisted of typical behavioral questions. HR staff is always very welcoming and friendly and not intimidating at all!

I interviewed at Allison Transmission (Indianapolis, IN) in May 2009
Interview
The hiring was through a third party contractor. The interview was very basic, experience, education history, work ethic, back ground etc. Most if not all were behavioral based and it was not a case study or any math flow question. I am not sure what an actual interview at Allison would be like since I was hired through Belken.
