Allies Group interview questions

Having had an initial chat, I was then asked to give a presentation giving the company my ideas. Having been scammed by companies through a similar approach in the past, I refused, and withdrew my application. I then find out that the company is no longer hiring for that role. I assume they were able to get someone to give them the information they needed for free, so now have no need to hire.
