Question 1
What unique quality of mine which is different from other candidates through which they hire me? This question was unexpected.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Allianz (Rotterdam) in Nov 2025
Interview
I applied online for the Graduate Training Program at Allianz. After some time, I received a phone call and a phone screen interview was arranged within the same week. This initial call was mainly to align expectations and to explain the recruitment process, which was clear and well organized at that stage.
The next step was a Selection Day, where all shortlisted candidates gathered for a full day of assessments. We were split into groups and given a case scenario to work on, which we later had to present. During the preparation time, there were short interviews with managers, who asked each candidate different and sometimes quite random questions. During the presentation phase, we were also asked many follow-up questions.
At the end of the day, we were informed that results would be communicated within two weeks and that each candidate would receive individual feedback. Unfortunately, after more than a month, we were only informed (without even an individual email) that the graduate track had been cancelled. No individual feedback was provided, and subsequent emails were left unanswered.
Overall, the interview process itself was structured and engaging, but the lack of communication and follow-up after the Selection Day was disappointing and unprofessional, especially given the time and effort required from candidates.
Was an okay experience. Nothing too difficult. It was an online video interview where they put a question on the screen and give you about 90 seconds to prepare to answer the question.
Multiple stages to process, including online preliminary, and in person assessment centre. friendly interviewers. Case study included an 15 min presentation on a topic regarding insurance, and competency based questions. Overall a positive experience, with interviewers who are trying to point you in the right direction. This was prior to covid so hiring experience may have altered since.
