Multiple Phone/Skype Interviews 2 face to face interviews, 3 Psychometric assessments and a phone interview with an organisational psychologist
The questions were mostly standard behavioral interview questions, but the interesting bit is the assessment process. Whereas the interviews will focus very heavily on your ability to be creative and innovative and provide effective out of the box solutions; the assessment process clearly is looking for a defined profile.
AlixPartners is on a mission to standardize their Organisation (they call it "One Firm" or the "AlixPartners Way") and the assessment process is clearly the central piece of this. Which makes sense. However it means that your skills sets, and background are pretty much secondary to whether or not you fit the mold the assessment is looking for. Not necessarily a bad thing, but something to definitely be aware of if you apply to work there.
