      Financial Analyst Interview

      9 Jul 2014
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Declined offer

      Application

      I interviewed at Alcoa

      Interview

The whole process was okay, it seemed appropriate for the job responsibilities. Overall, it is what you expect for a big company headquatered in NY like Alcoa. I would think it is similar to other interviews I've had with similarly sized huge corporations. Overall, it was a good experience. I got the offer, after some preparation.

      Financial Analyst Interview

      14 Apr 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Newburgh, IN
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Alcoa (Newburgh, IN)

      Interview

The Newburgh location has a lot of turnovers and I can see why. The interview process was very unorganized and they kept saying you will get an offer by this week. Then few weeks later HR reached out trying to schedule more interviews. The process took over two months! The hiring manager that said I was the top candidate for this role left the company in the middle of the interview process. I withdrew my application because it seems they are unprofessional and don't know how to respect or value people's time. My worst experience with a company in the interview process!

      Financial Analyst Interview

      23 Sept 2014
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer

      Application

      I interviewed at Alcoa

      Interview

Applied through campus recruiting. Was contacted over the phone for an on-campus interview. The interviewer was quite nice and asked very basic behavioral questions. No accounting or finance questions were asked however the interviewer knew I didn't study finance (majored in another quantitative field). If you majored in finance be prepared to be asked some financial questions.
