      Interview

I applied online through the company, there was first an HR screening that lasted 30 min, the next interview was a 2:1 phone interview that lasted an hour where they dissected your resume and then asked technical question at the end asking how does the backend of our lock work when unlocked on a mobile application and how would you explain a database to a grandparent. The next step was an on site interview where you had to give a 10 min presentation on yourself, a 2:1 interview on resume followed by a brainteaser, then an 1hr long assessment (30 min analytical, 30 min written). Was a long day of assessments

      Management Development Program Interview

      24 Oct 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Washington, DC
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Alarm.com (Washington, DC) in Oct 2017

      Interview

A behavioral phone interview, followed by a 45 minute phone interview. The first interview was very easy and relaxed, as they just asked me a little about myself and why I was interested in alarm.com. The second phone interview was much more involved. There were questions about my resume, why I thought the role would be a good fit for me, as well as a brain teaser question. It was a good experience even though I didn't get asked to the Super Day.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me about a time you had to hit the ground running and learn on the job.
      Answer question
