I applied online. I interviewed at Akamai (Cambridge, MA) in Mar 2021
Interview
The process was fairly normal. Recruiter contacted after application, call with hiring manager and then a 4+ hour panel interview. What was absolutely weird was how many times the interviewers told "we have a lot of budget
and lot of work".
I was also a bit taken aback because more than half of the team who was interviewing me decided to turn off their videos during a remote onsite interview.
One of the interviewers was not only rude but kept on laughing on his side. One thing i feel they did not understand is that when you are interviewing someone, they are also interviewing you. I am happy I dodged the bullet. Definitely seemed a toxic environment to work
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Return subarray with max sum
2. Return all subarrays with sum k
3. Find all permutations of a string
The interview process was smooth and well-structured. I went through three technical rounds, each focusing on different skill sets. The discussions were insightful, and I had a positive experience interacting with the interviewers throughout.
