Went through a 4 part interview process, and eventually was told I did not receive the position because the interviewers did not love my response to the question "Why Airwallex?" Given that I had years of compliance experience and engaged the interviewers as well as I could, the recruiter ended up calling me stating that I was not given the position based on one subjective question. From what I have been reading on Glassdoor and from public articles, Airwallex is not a sufficient firm to work with if you want autonomy and respect, which I did not feel I received through the professional waste-of-time interview experience I was put through. Resulting in being told that my experience, interview communication skills and business acumen were not taken into account, but rather, the deciding factor was my ability to answer a subjective question.
